The Alzheimer’s & Dementia Disparities Engagement Network (ADDEN) collaborated with UsAgainstAlzheimer’s’ Alzheimer’s Talks on a webinar focused on research insights from the perspectives of current and former clinical trial volunteers from the Latino and African American communities.  The webinar was hosted by Dr. Goldie Byrd, Director of the Center for Outreach in Alzheimer’s Aging and Community Health at North Carolina A&T State University, and Jason Resendez, Executive Director of the LatinosAgainstAlzheimer’s Network and Coalition.

The webinar included a live polling component to help ADDEN better understand caregiver and patient preferences around research and clinical trial participation. According to the live polling, 55% of respondents said they are most interested in research related to lifestyle modification to prevent Alzheimer’s.
