About Us

Latinos and African Americans experience significant disparities in Alzheimer’s and dementia diagnosis rates, access to treatment, and quality care. These disparities are exacerbated by high levels of stigma and weak linkages to our nation’s healthcare system and research institutions.
The Alzheimer’s & Dementia Disparities Engagement Network (ADDEN) is a platform for collaboration among patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, community leaders, and researchers with the goal of developing patient-centered research and programming efforts to address these disparities.
